Baseline Maps of Valmiki Tiger Reserve

Baseline maps of Valmiki Tiger Reserve have been developed to map the existing vegetation pattern of the Tiger Reserve with a focus on forest community, using satellite imageries and GIS. The baseline maps of the Tiger Reserve (1:50,000 scale) will showing details of topography, vegetation type, drainage and water bodies, major roads, village locations in and around the reserve (5km radius) infrastructure etc for management purpose.
