Change detection analysis for Pilibhit and Lakhimpur District Forests

The project has developed a GIS database on the current status of the forest cover of Pilibhit and Lakhimpur districts. As part of this project, change detection analysis for the forest cover has also been carried out. The results of the work is expected to provide solutions for developing detailed project proposals for a Joint Forest management initiative in the degraded forest areas of these two districts.
