EIA of 4 PAs selected by MoEF for the World Bank aided Eco-development projects

Preliminary Environment Impact Assessment study for the proposed Eco-development project funded by World Bank to MoEF was carried out in and around Rajiv Gandhi National Park, Periyar, Buxa and Similipal tiger Reserves. This comprehensive EIA involved on-site surveys, extensive use of GIS/remote sensing tools and techniques in collection of relevant baseline data and analysis of both spatial and non-spatial databasets in context of the proposed activities. The assessment work was completed within a month and the final report was submitted to the Ministry of Environment and forests for their perusal.
