Assistant Manager – Corporate Partnerships

WWF-India, one of the country’s largest conservation organizations is looking for enthusiastic young individuals to help the Conservation Alliances team at WWF-India raise funds to expand and upscale the conservation work across the country. The objective of Conservation Alliances is to develop partnerships with corporates that deliver on multiple benefits, which intersect with WWF conservation priorities, and provide leadership examples that leverage broader change. It works with business and industry to promote social responsibility and help find market-based tools for sustainable development. 
Location: Mumbai.
The Job Profile: 
  • Mobilize corporates to garner support for WWF-India’s conservation initiatives in the country. Position WWF-India, among existing and potential corporate partners as, a leading conservation organization.
  • Implement WWF-India’s Corporate Partnerships strategy in Maharashtra
  • Identify new corporate partnership opportunities to increase organization’s reach and raise funds to support organization conservation initiatives in the country
  •    Identify a list of target companies WWF-India can engage with based on organization’s corporate engagement policy. Research on the interests of the target companies and the kind of projects they are likely to support
  • Play an active role in achieving individual and team targets.
  • Business Development.
  • Contribute to development of relevant fundraising communication materials - concept notes, proposals, reports, newsletters etc
  • Work with internal teams to draft the Memorandum of Understanding for new partnerships.
Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
  • Graduate in any stream in any stream from a recognized University
  • Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Communication & Marketing shall be an advantage.
  • 2-3 years’ experience, preferably in a development sector organisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent WWF India.
  • Background in Sales/ Marketing/ Business Development/Fundraising
  • Highly performance oriented and ability to work in a team.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
  • Good understanding of the Wildlife and conservation issues and also CSR
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Business development skills. Prior fundraising experience an added advantage.
  • Networking and ability to build professional relationships
