Outdoor Leadership & Adventure Course

Discover the adventurer in you and enjoy this summer holiday in the outdoors. Wake up each morning and experience the fresh mountain air as you move from one camp to another. Learn to pitch a tent, climb a rock or cross a river...and lots more. The objective of this tenday course is to provide an opportunity for participants to learn outdoor leadership skills. And do a memorable Nag Tibba Traverse including the Climb to the top of the peak at 10,000 feet.

Nag Tibba Traverse: The Nag Tibba Peak whose height is just short of 10,000 feet is located near Mussoorie and for many reasons is an attractive destination for trekkers. It offers a 300 km wide stretch of the Himalaya, opportunity to cross mountains streams, walk through mixed oak and deodar forest, pass through several mountain villages and above all experience the thrill of reaching the top of a high point.

Program Partners : This program is being organized by Juniper Outdoor Pursuits Centre in association with Woodstock School’s Hanifl Centre of Outdoor Education and WWF- India.

Program Information: The trek selected has a well marked trail and has safe campsites. Course instruction will be conducted by certified and trained instructors. Equipment used in the course complies with international safety standards. Each group moves with an elaborate first-aid kit and instructors who are proficient in wilderness first aid.

Dates: 18th May-24th May & 25 th May-1st June, 2012

Duration: 6 nights and 7 days.

Eligibility:
12-16 years or classes 7-11

Course Fee: Rs.15,000 including tax.
