Directory of Environmental Resource Persons in Tamil Nadu
The Directory of Environmental Resource Persons in Tamil Nadu was released by Dr. Vincent, Member Secretary, TamilNadu State Council for Science and Technology and our Minister for School Education Thiru Thangam Thennarasu received the first copy of the directory, during our bird's day celebration on November 12, 2008.
The directory covers about 130 experts from all the fields of environmental conservation including scientists, academicians, Researchers, Professionals, media, NGOs, Activists and government officials who have put in expertise for the conservation of nature. This hand book will be of great use for the researcher, Nature Clubs, Eco clubs, National Green Cops, Schools; NGO's to be connected with the resource persons to work for the conservation of our environment. This directory is only a beginning; a small initiative to bring all resource persons together and eventually many more will be added in the next edition. This directory was prepared with the help of financial support from the Department of Environment, Government of Tamil Nadu and The Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology.
