“Role of Finance, with a special focus on Microfinance, in Enhancing Clean Energy Access” assesses the current status of energy access in the country, including the role of renewable energy and existing clean energy finance models in enhancing access to clean energy. The study takes into consideration key aspects such as region, socio-economic factors, acceptance and affordability. It also identifies opportunities for wider replication/scalability of potential models and proposes recommendations accordingly.
