This is the fourth webinar in the Safeguarding Nature in TRC series and we have explored on the ‘Environment Friendly Infrastructure Development in Nepal’. After the promulgation of ‘Wildlife Friendly Linear Infrastructure Construction Guidelines’, Nepal is marching ahead with good examples of inclusion of biodiversity friendly infrastructure development practices where coordination and collaboration between Development and Conservation authorities have produced significant gains contributing positively on conservation gains. This webinar will delve upon Infrastructure development and conservation initiatives being done in Nepal and how MDB funded large Infrastructure development projects are contributing better in maintaining a balance.
