Senior Programme Officer – WWF Volunteers

WWF-India, one of the largest conservation organisations, engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country, invites applications from candidates with an inherent sensitivity towards the conservation of nature, for the position of Senior Programme Officer- WWF Volunteers.  The candidate will work on the implementation of its Environment Education programme in schools, colleges, NGO’s, corporates of Delhi.

Location: New Delhi, with travel involved.
The Job Profile:
  1. Outreach and coordination with colleges, youth groups/organizations/states for implementation of WWF Volunteers programme
  2. Support in organizing orientations, workshops or other relevant courses for WWF Volunteers
  3. Compiling and maintaining reports, letters, database or any other information pertaining to the WWF Volunteers programme
  4. Assist in planning and overseeing year long volunteer engagement calendar
  5. Setting up partnerships with volunteer groups, government organizations and execution partners.
  6. Assist in creating monitoring and evaluation formats and ensuring execution.
  7. Any other work relating to the WWF Volunteers program as and when assigned
 Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
  • Candidates should have Post Graduate degree, preferably in the field of Mass Communication, Journalism and Public Relations from a reputed university.
  • The applicant should have 2-4 years of experience working with youth in the education and/or development sector.
  • Enthusiasm to engage with people and the ability to take them along.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
