In today’s scenario of urbanization & industrialization Environmental protection has become an important task for the survival of present as well as future generations. As per the responsibility The M.P. State Office organized Anti Polythene Campaign at Nehru Nagar Hart, Bhopal. During the campaign the public who had come to buy the vegetables were distributed cloth bags and were asked to make the promise for not using the polythene in future.

The public were sensitized about the harmful effects of polythene. The vegetable & fruit vendors were given cloth bags and asked to use paper bags instead of plastic bags. Many volunteers from colleges also helped in the campaign. The message of ‘lessen our environmental footprint by minimizing the use of plastic bags’ was given to the general public.
