Regional Workshops on “Climate Solver+ : Accelerating Cleantech Innovation in SME sector in India”

Climate Solver is a global climate innovation platform by WWF that recognizes and awards small and medium enterprises (SMEs) whose transformative technologies/business models can either mitigate GHG emissions or enhance energy access. It was launched in India in 2012, and in the last six years, 19 promising innovators have been awarded. Know more about Climate Solver here.

Since last year, WWF-India has expanded this platform to a new initiative called “Climate Solver +”. Through this expansion, the programme intends to reach out to a larger number of existing yet unexplored pool of SMEs at the local level, enhance networking amongst SMEs and other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem as well as facilitate finance/business support opportunities for the SMEs.

In its 7th edition, Climate Solver platform envisages to further enhance the reach and scope through regional platforms and build on the successes of the Climate Solver initiative in India through the “regional reach-out” initiative.

With the above context, WWF-India is hosting a regional workshop on “Climate Solver+ : Accelerating Cleantech Innovation in SME sector in India” with an aim to reach out to cleantech entrepreneurs in the southern region.

Who will attend?
Representatives from SMEs, government, incubation centres, universities, foundations, venture capitalists, financial institutions, industry associations and other relevant stakeholders in the clean energy space.
